This is the area immediately behind the first range of hills running from Coursegoules to St Cézaire sur Siagne so the upper Siagne and Loup valleys. The two main routes up there are either via Grass or Chateauneuf de Grasse, we tend to take the latter as Grasse can be a bit of a bottle neck, but of course it depends if the walk is on the west or the east side of the region. The area is generally quieter than the Pays Vençois or the Pays Grassois because of its relative proximity to the coast, the walks tend to be higher (ski region) with a better footing than Bévéra Paillon because of the geology. The area encompasses Caussols, Canaux, Audiberge, Cipières, Gréolières, Escragnolles and Seranon.
