Riviera Rambling Walking and Hiking on the French Riviera

for our reference is the mountain range from the Var river at Gattières to the Loup at Gourdon. As you fly into Nice airport the limestone bluffs you see are what we are referring to. Less than 30 minutes from the coast a rich area for walks, they can be a little busy at times especially on a Sunday but beautiful none the less. You can link all these walks up as they have a common thread the GR51 which takes you from the Var across this range of hills to Grasse. The area covers the towns of St Jeannet, Vence, Courmes and Bramafan.
