The hills around Grasse from the River Siange to the river Loup is what we refer to a the pays Grassois. Some of the nicer towns and villages of the crowded coastal zone are nestled in the valley of the Siagne. The walks are quite gentle in the valley itself and more usual behind Grasse as they are an extension of the range in the pays Vençois with the continuation of the GR51. The area encompasses Bar sur Loup, Maganosc, Grasse and St Cézaire-sur-Siagne.
