The Haute Tinée is the region moving west from the Haut Var. There are 5 river valleys that provide useful delimiters when describing the region. The Haute Tinée is the head of the river Tinée valley. The area includes the ski resorts of St Dalmas, St Étienne de Tinée, Auron and Isola 2000.
